Subject: Request for hardship grant
This is to inform you that I, Rachel Williams, student of American Institute for Performing Arts, have been undergoing a tough phase of economic hardship and would request for university grants to finance my education.
I have been a top-grade student and an achiever at various extra-curricular activities [C.V and certificates have been attached herewith, along with other required documents of proof]. My family, however, cannot provide me with the required economic support for my college or further studies. On the basis of my merit and my sincere interest in pursuing studies, I hope I would be provided with the said grant to help fight this hardship and achieve the education I want as well as need.
I have enclosed all authentic documents to prove my family’s financial inability to sponsor my studies. I promise to put in maximum efforts into studies and also search for a source of income as early as possible, so as to pay back debts and loans. It would be extremely kind of you to look into the matter and consider my chances for being eligible to receive grants.
